In recent years, scientists have made exciting discoveries about the effects of music on our minds and bodies. Music increases creativity, develops mental acuity, and assists our immune system. We will explore how music can help us fulfill our inner potential, soothe and relax, or transport us to realms of consciousness to serve as an aid to meditation. The singing voice is an important part of this journey combined with other instruments and songs that lift us up in times of pain, grief, fear, or other struggles. This workshop will explore the music, teachings, and our own contributions we bring individually and collaboratively.
